Chuck Curtis has returned to Portsmouth Community Radio with a new comedy show entitled "The Laugh Factory".  It is heard on Sundays from Noon to 1 pm (as of June 9, 2013) .

Chuck brings his great sense of humor along with a huge catalog of some of your favorite comedy stars.. and a few surprises... to share with his listeners.

The only actor in the recreation of "Sorry Wrong Number" recorded on 9/22/11.... Diane Ficarra did an incredible job in this one-person performance!  A recreation of the Suspense episode starring Agnes Moorehead.

Since 2008 our Audio Theatre productions featuring our own Audio Theatre Players have been recorded in a loft of a home in Dover,NH.  Here the room is set up and waiting for the cast of "Seven Waves Away" to arrive.

The cast of this very dramatic production, Seven Waves Away, included the following members (l to r in photo): Chuck Curtis, Jack Tracksler, Steve Shervanian, Mike Nelson, Mike Coppinger, Shawn Henderson, Diane Ficarra, Eddie McGee, Jessie Rains, and Richard Jenisch.  The play was recorded on March 20, 2013 and aired on April 2, 2013... exactly 75 years from the original date of the Columbia Workshop broadcast on April 2, 1938.  The play was directed and editec by John Lovering, host of Audio Theatre - Tuesdays 6-8 pm

Tim Stone was one of the blood donors at the American Red Cross Blood Drive that was sponsored by Portsmouth Community Radio at the Middle St. Baptist Church in Portsmouth... all part of our "community outreach" during the 2013 Spring Seed The Power Membership Drive.  We appreciate the many volunteers who worked at the drive and also the American Red Cross for allowing WSCA to sponsor the drive.
